Senior Software Engineer (SDET) - Tietoevry Care (m/f/d)

About the role

Experience Required: 5–8 years of hands-on experience as a test Automation Engineer.

With us you will be responsible for

  • Build and maintain healthcare products as part of an Agile development team, collaborating closely with a global team.
  • Communicate delivery risks and bottlenecks to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Review and verify functional and system requirements; ensure deliverables meet Quality Assurance (QA) criteria and comply with requirements prior to deployment.
  • Manage test data throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Write clear, maintainable test scripts.
  • Estimate effort and timelines for testing activities.
  • Proactively identify and raise defects.
  • Suggest improvements and new ideas when feasible.
  • Mentor and train team members.
  • Contribute to, and help drive, the Automation Testing roadmap.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Excellent knowledge of software testing/QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • 4–7 years of hands‑on test automation experience, with proficiency in at least two of the following:

Selenium WebDriver (C#), Ranorex (C#), Razor or Java

  • Mobile test automation
  • Performance testing with JMeter
  • Proven ability to derive and write test cases and test scripts from functional requirements.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL Server scripting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience with Agile ways of working, especially Scrum.

  • Strong technical leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Passion for modern tools, technologies, and engineering excellence.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering value and quality.
