We are looking for a Data Engineer to join Tietoevry Create. The role focuses on designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and cloud-based solutions in Azure, with a strong emphasis on IoT, analytics, and modern data platforms. As a consultant, you’ll be part of a team that works closely with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that drive real business value. Geographical location for this role is mainly Malmö.

When joining Tietoevry Create as a Data Engineer:

• You will design and build data pipelines and cloud-native solutions in Azure.

• Work with technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Power BI, Event Hubs, and Cosmos DB.

• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to implement secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions.

• Ensure best practices in architecture, monitoring, and DevOps.

Who we are looking for:

• Experience in data engineering and cloud development, preferably in Microsoft Azure.

• You don’t need to master everything listed, but you should have solid experience in some of the following areas:

  • Data Ingestion & Processing: Azure Event Hubs, Stream Analytics.

  • Serverless Compute: Azure Functions.

  • Data Persistence: Cosmos DB (partitioning, performance tuning).

  • Analytics & Warehousing: Synapse Analytics, Delta Lake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric.

  • Visualization & Reporting: Power BI.

  • Cloud Architecture: Scalable, secure design patterns.

  • DevOps & Monitoring: Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Azure Monitor, Application Insights

• You are proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with responsibility and influence
