Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Telecommunications Engineer with solid expertise in optical transport technologies, including DWDM, OTN, and Optical Cross Connect systems. In this role, you will contribute to the design, deployment, testing, and support of high-capacity telecom solutions connecting data centers, cloud environments, on-net buildings, service providers, and telecom operators worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and validation of telecom solutions built on DWDM and OTN technologies
• Support optical network capacity planning and optimization across the transport infrastructure
• Participate in the resolution of network issues and actively support service delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network upgrades and customer deployments
• Apply industry standards and internal engineering best practices in day to day operations
• Maintain accurate documentation of network designs, configurations, and operational procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, IT, or Electronics
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in optical networking and telecom infrastructure
• Working knowledge of SDH, DWDM, OTN, Ethernet, and fiber optic transmission principles
• Some practical exposure to optical network equipment from leading vendors (e.g., Infinera, )
• Basic familiarity with network management systems and performance monitoring tools
• Analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem solving
• Team oriented with the ability to work effectively in fast paced technical environments

Preferred Skills

• Awareness of IP/MPLS integration with optical transport layers
• Interest in or early experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python) for network operations
• Any certification or training in optical networking technologies (e.g., Infinera XTC, G30, G40) is a plus

• Good interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative and eager to learn,
• Proactive and able to work with guidance while progressively taking ownership,
• Comfortable operating in a project driven environment (planning, follow-up, stakeholder communication)
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
