About the role
In this position, you will work as part of a skilled development team, designing and building reliable software solutions for the private healthcare and welfare sector. A key part of your role will be working with Microsoft SQL Server databases, including developing and optimizing SQL queries, analyzing data, troubleshooting database-related issues, and supporting application integrations through APIs. Your work will contribute to simplifying everyday life for patients, healthcare professionals, and customers.
We are looking for someone with:
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with.NET, Visual Studio, and MS SQL Server
- Strong SQL expertise, including writing and optimizing complex queries, database design, data modeling, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Good knowledge of databases, including data modeling, querying, indexing, and performance considerations
- Experience in API development (REST and/or SOAP), including designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs
- Experience in design and implementation of end‑user software products
- Experience working with Agile / Scrum and SAFe
- Strong willingness to learn, improve, and explore
- Passion to build great products and solve complex customer problems
- Proven track record to deliver with quality and flexibility
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Finnish
It would be beneficial if you also have experience in:
- Implementing invoicing or other financial management solutions
- API development (REST/SOAP)
- Private/healthcare domain
