Tidewater Community College provides services to support decision making at all levels of the college and includes the functional areas of institutional research; program outcomes assessment; strategic and annual planning; and regional as well as specialized accreditation.

Currently we are looking for some experienced, motivated, and talented Tutor/Teacher to join our team. Positions are available throughout.Tutors will work with students to improve their academic aptitude by providing academic tutoring in groups as well as individually.

Responsibilities:

• Design a plan according to curriculum.
• Establish academic goals for students.
• Close achievement gap by working on building skills and re-establishing foundations.
• Provide progress notes for parents.
• Willing to go to instructional Training.
• Travel to service students.

• Strong academic background
• At least two years' experience in tutoring
• Strong enthusiasm and patience for teaching and learning
• Ability to work with students in one-on-one as well as small group settings
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
