Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Training Specialist to ensure the marketing team is fully educated, to perform at a high level, and increase customer satisfaction. Our ideal candidate recognizes our company objectives and recommends ideas to achieve them through employee training. For this position, you should combine excellent organization skills with the ability to interact with your team members and motivate them to succeed.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain mastery level of understanding of all systems, products, and policies & procedures required
  • Prepare training activities to assist employees to strengthen their professional tools
  • Participate in activities that look at new processes, systems, etc. to support corporate initiatives to identify opportunities to improve processes for the company
  • Promote development and delivery of (system, product, and service) workshops across all areas as business needs dictate
  • Develop/provide input into the development of targeted training workshops for specific business functionalities
  • Classes can range from large groups to one-on-ones.
  • Facilitate and coordinate training for all new hire classes when appropriate
  • Plan and enhance training material to ensure accuracy; to ensure delivery reflects best practices to support the overall current training requirements as well as changes that need to be incorporated
  • Determine training opportunities to increase understanding of material trained
  • Collect and interpret feedback of results to determine if the training was effective, and to identify opportunities to improve materials and results

Qualifications

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • High-energy, high-impact facilitation style. Ability to command a room regardless of content
  • Experience or enthusiasm around developing training, communication, and/or development programs from scratch
  • A knack for building strong relationships- A "people person"
  • Knowledge of how to have natural, strategic conversations to uncover needs- You ask great questions
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage a variety of responsibilities
  • Understanding of marketing process, preferably with customer service experience
  • BSc degree in Education, Human Resources or relevant field
  • Additional training certification is a plus
