Job Description
As Senior Director of Corporate and Brand Marketing, you will own and execute Thought Industries’ brand strategy to position us as the global market leader. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing, you’ll drive alignment across teams to enhance brand visibility, simplify messaging, and create a strong market voice. Success in this role means building awareness, generating pipeline, and inspiring prospects and customers.
This role will start fully remote but will be moving to a hybrid schedule in 2025, candidate must be located in the Boston area.
Responsibilities
Corporate Marketing Strategy: Define and execute a comprehensive strategy for corporate and brand marketing, aligning with marketing, sales, customer success, and product teams to exceed business goals.
Website Leadership: Manage the Thought Industries website, ensuring timely updates, design refreshes, and a supporting role in SEO optimization, collaborating with the content and demand generation leads.
Brand Ownership: Develop and maintain a cohesive brand identity across all channels by aligning internal corporate decks and overseeing the design of external-facing assets, campaign visuals, and the website to ensure impactful representation.
Social Media Leadership: Drive brand awareness, advocacy, and lead generation through organic social media efforts.
Analyst Relations Lead: Collaborate with product marketing and product teams to create a strategic analyst relations plan to enhance market visibility and credibility.
External Brand Promotion: Increase brand visibility through multi-channel PR initiatives, partnering with event teams to maximize Thought Industries’ presence.
Video and Thought Leadership: Lead initiatives to establish Thought Industries as an industry leader and disruptor through video content and strategic awareness campaigns.
Brand Advocacy: Strengthen brand awareness by identifying and leveraging memberships, partnerships, and collaborations for go-to-market teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.
6+ years of experience in B2B SaaS-focused brand strategy or corporate marketing.
Proven success in a fast-paced, startup environment, with the ability to balance strategic vision and hands-on execution.
Strong experience managing external agencies, including design and website vendors.
Demonstrated ability to plan and execute brand strategies that resonate in a growing tech environment.
Expertise working collaboratively with direct sales teams, product management, and customer success teams.
Advanced WordPress knowledge and strong SEO skills.
Creative thinker with a proven ability to elevate brand presence and recognition.
Experience driving analyst relations and leveraging them for thought leadership and pipeline generation.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to simplify complex messages for diverse audiences.
Track record of leading cross-departmental initiatives and collaborating with senior leadership teams.
Experience in external learning or online learning technology is highly desirable.
