The Charge Nurse assists in the supervision and administration of quality nursing care for the facility. The Charge Nurse must possess a comprehensive knowledge of general nursing, theory and practice, including basic knowledge related to nursing such as drugs, biological, physical, social and medical sciences. The Charge Nurse will assist in maintaining a physical, social, and psychological environment which will be conducive to the best interest and welfare of the residents. In other words, we do all we can to make life great for the Thomas Rest Haven Family!!

Position requires the employee to be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and must possess and the employee must be responsible for maintaining a current license with the Iowa Board of Nursing. Applicants with advanced preparation in or experience with geriatrics is preferred but not expected. Must have a big heart and love for the elderly!!
