Job Description

What will you do?

As the new UX Researcher, you’ll decipher our core user needs, informing strategy for upcoming products.  Your findings will provide greater clarity to the Product Design team, creating alignment across disparate teams for the future product roadmap.  This is a growing team, so you’ll help define best practices and shape UX processes.

Taking ownership of discovery, exploration and validation research, you’ll find opportunity areas for the commercial growth of Third Bridge, and help us better service our clients’ needs.  You’ll devise and deliver effective research methods to test prototype products, learn customer needs and get the product teams the information they need to enhance our services and solutions.  You’ll complete user profiling, devise questionnaires and other types of research.

Communicating with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders within and outside of Third Bridge, you’ll collate your findings and present them in compelling presentations and reports to advise and influence.  This is a great opportunity to join the Product Design team, shaping our UX processes, making sure we’re asking the right questions to devise solutions to the right problems, and ensuring that the user is at the heart of everything we do!

Qualifications

What will you bring?

You love user research!  You bring experience of designing effective research methods to get the right intel the company needs to deliver the best customer experience through its products and services.  Although not essential, a little wireframing could be useful when sharing prototypes or ideas to participants and your Product Design colleagues.  You have worked in a corporate setting in different sectors, ideally some exposure to financial services would be a plus.

Familiar with an agile environment, you work with multidisciplinary teams across different locations using Jira or other ticketing tools to keep on track.  You have some exposure to Figma and you’re open to learning more design elements to contribute to ideation of solutions to the concerns or problems that your users share with you.  You’re a people-person: a natural collaborator, getting the most from participants of user research, and working with your team to share findings and influence the product roadmap.

You enjoy working within a collaborative team where you’re encouraged to have autonomy and ownership, but also sharing your knowledge and experience, and learning from others.  Naturally curious, you dig deep to find the solutions to the problems that the business doesn’t even know it has! You’re now looking for a new role where you can bring experience and expertise, shaping processes and sharing best practices, with multiple avenues for progression and career growth.
