Job Description

What will you do?

As a Senior Integration Engineer at Third Bridge, you’ll be part of our integration practice, ensuring the smooth and effective integration of all our systems and workflows.  You’ll develop new capabilities to serve the needs of the whole business, help to test and select new integration and workflow technologies,  as well as migrating, replatforming and replacing existing solutions.

Working in a collaborative team spirit, you’ll coach and mentor junior engineers, taking a lead on technical decisions, implementation choices, and ensuring we work to the right standards and principles.  Working in an agile way, you’ll work closely with other engineering delivery teams, product managers and owners, often acting as the SME for workflow and integration.

As a senior engineer you’ll be working across the full product lifecycle, from design to deployment, including selecting and implementing new integration and workflow technologies and approaches. This is a great time to join the team as we start our multi-year transformation: developing scalable robust solutions, growing the team offering new career paths and autonomy, and launching new products and locations!

Qualifications

What will you bring?

You are an experienced engineer with a focus on continuous integration.  You see the bigger picture of how the different solutions and applications fit together, working cohesively with wider tech teams to ensure technical capabilities are simplified and improved.  You have experience in delivering high-quality solutions using such technologies as:

  • Typescript

  • Node.js

  • Integration middleware such as Camel or Mule, along with Java

  • Python

  • AWS

You bring an attitude of continual improvement, striving for operational simplicity and excellence from yourself and others.  You embed testing strategies into your daily practice to ensure the quality of code.  You adopt CI/CD and DevSecOps principles in the work you do.

You’re a keen collaborator, working with multidisciplinary teams, and acting as a senior in the team, you’re happy to share best practices, and you may have supported more junior colleagues in the past, including the mentorship of grads or junior engineers. You’re now looking for a role in a team of experienced peers where you have significant autonomy and the opportunity to take  a lead with solution design.
