We’re looking for growth-driven and data savvy contributing writers to join the Thinknum Media editorial team of data journalists and storytellers from CNBC, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and Engadget and many more.
As a contributor, you will collaborate with the editorial team to produce engaging data-driven stories for one of our beats including startups, retail, capital markets, real estate, innovation, consumer trends and more.
Top performing writers will have the opportunity to join the team full-time as associate editors.
Passionate about data journalism
Experience working with a CMS
Ability to produce 2-3 stories per week
Past editorial experience is preferred
Self-motivation and ability to work independently with data and developing compelling articles ideas and data commentary
Ability to leverage your network of media contacts for content distribution is a plus
Strong social media presence is a plus
Ability to follow editorial calendar; punctuality & reliability is a must
