We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance and Business Support to support our team and contribute to the efficiency of our growing collective. Your central challenge is to own various organizational tasks, from internal bookkeeping and other operational tasks to providing individual and timely support to our founding team. This will allow you to get an inside perspective on what it means to run a mission-driven globally distributed team.
80%: Your key responsibilities
Develop and maintain highly detailed books, budgets and timely financial projections in collaboration with our external accounting partners in Germany and Tunisia to ensure accurate financial results and reporting
Manage bookkeeping (invoicing, debtors mgmt, petty cash) and monthly closes, financial reports, and variance analysis
Work closely with our founding team to provide individual timely support on critical tasks and special projects
Prepare information for internal and external communication and act as point of contact to external partners
Supporting with meeting preparation and documentation of meeting minutes

What we’re looking for
2-3 years professional experience with time spent in an operations, finance or assistance role, as well as in a high-growth technology startup
Excellent analytical skills and financial literacy with a demonstrated approach to data-driven decision making
You are a shipper. Despite managing multiple priorities, you accomplish your work autonomously and on time, and have experience setting a positive example for reliability and self-management to your team.
You are able to communicate most proficiently orally and in writing in English and French or Arabic
Your are able to delve into the detail as well as take a higher-level view
You are self-motivated. You take initiative, are naturally curious, and can learn new things quickly while continuing to deliver value on the job.
Highly proficient in Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and/or G-Suite
Passion to help transform the world
Great to haves
B.Sc or M.Sc in Finance, Business or similar discipline
Experience with German accounting standards
Experience working with international and / or distributed teams
Professional proficiency in German
