Company Description

Hi! We’re so happy that you’re here.

Think-it is an engineering collective on a mission to unlock human potential through technology. We identify and accelerate North Africa’s future technology leaders — before integrating them as full-time distributed team members with innovative partners around the world.

Backed by mission-aligned partners, we bridge the gap between high-skill talent supply and demand through a unique approach combining agile learning methodologies and state-of-the-art distributed collaboration — with the goal of putting North Africa on the map as a digital innovation hub with highly-qualified and affordable technical talent.

Founded in 2017 with a team representing 9 nationalities and 40% women, we are enthusiastically committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and equality within our own team, our partner teams, and our investor networks.

Job Description

Jointly with our partners, we aim to set up Think-it’s Open Learning Community (OLC), which will be accessible for hundreds of learners across North Africa who pass entry-level testing in algorithmic thinking and problem-solving. The Think-it Open Learning Community will serve as a platform for learners to discover and showcase both technical and behavioral skills they possess and perform as part of a wider network of engineers in the region. The objective is to bring together learners, beginners and intermediate, and provide access to a selection of learning modules through a blended learning approach. Young talented developers, who are currently prevented from accessing high-value blended learning opportunities, will be granted a job-focused learning pipeline with the possibility of immediate job placement at Think-it. It will host workshops, bring in speakers and contribute to blending open sources online learning content with a physical dedicated open to all freely registered members of the OLC. The Think-it Pop Up garage will expose individuals to  cutting-edge technologies as part of Think-it's domain focus (incl. future of work/ learning tool such as VR/AR and hologram applications).

The Learning & Development Intern will focus on the activities surrounding the launch of the OLC and Think-it Pop Up garage this summer 2019. In addition, the intern will receive an extensive, yet high-level, immersion into the technological and non-technical contents (Machine Learning/ AI, DevOps & Cloud Services, Advanced Web Dev like Dash board developments) as part of Think-it's learning curriculum to develop stakeholder relationships and build new partnerships regionally and internationally.
