Job Description

    Get ready for a whirlwind of fun and excitement as a pediatric occupational therapy assistant at our TOTS Clinic! You'll be the superhero helping little ones conquer their daily challenges and unlock their superpowers. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, includes:

    • Unleashing independence: Guide our tiny adventurers on their quest to master everyday tasks and become the masters of their own universe!
    • Fine-tuning those mini motors: Help little hands become nimble ninjas, ready to tackle anything from building block skyscrapers to mastering the art of shoelace tying.
    • Sensory sensation creation: Transform our clinic into a wonderland of textures, sounds, and sights that'll make every therapy session feel like a trip to an amusement park.
    • Handwriting wizardry: Turn squiggles and scribbles into legible masterpieces, one letter at a time.
    • Mealtime magic: Turn picky eaters into culinary explorers, making every bite an exciting adventure.
    • Teamwork makes the dream work: Join forces with our multidisciplinary squad of child development superheroes and work alongside families to create the ultimate support network.
    • Flexibility is your superpower: Be ready to don your cape and save the day with some evening shifts (2-3 days until 6 pm), but fear not! We'll ensure your schedule has the perfect balance of action and downtime.

    Qualifications

    The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant would perform skilled direct patient care activities under the clinical supervision of the Occupational Therapist.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program

    Current or eligible for state license

    Prefer active membership with the American Occupational Therapy Association (not required)

    Prefer minimum one (1) year experience

    New graduates welcome to apply

    Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
