Job Description

Theracare is currently seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to deliver exemplary care and enthusiasm in working with our adult/pediatric population in an  Outpatient Clinic .  This is a Full Time position. Come and enjoy all that Theracare has to offer including:

Qualifications

The Occupational Therapist would evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with the orders from the physician, through the use of therapeutic procedures and assistive devices intended to maximize functional potential in all areas of a patient's life. The Occupational Therapist will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Occupational Therapy. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy

Current state license/certification

Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board

Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Hand/Wrist treatment experience welcomed

Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline

Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
