Job Description

We are searching for a dynamic Occupational Therapist to join our busy Pediatric Outpatient Therapy Clinic in Fishers, IN.  This is a Part- time position with an focus on afternoon to early evening hours This position offers:

Qualifications

Typical duties of a pediatric occupational therapist includes helping children gain independence, promote development of fine motor skills, sensory motor skills and visual motor skills needed to function at the highest possible level. Much of the pediatric outpatient occupational therapy is focused on developmental skills including feeding, handwriting, and object manipulation. The pediatric occupational therapist will coordinate and work on a multidiscipline team as well as with family members. Additional hours can also be available in a local Skilled Nursing Facility. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy

Current state license/certification

Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board

Prefer minimum three to five (3-5) years experience in pediatric rehabilitation

Experience with feeding and sensory integration therapies

Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills

Competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in Pediatric Occupational Therapy

Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
