Job Description

Seeking Unit Manager for dayshift Monday through Friday at our 100% employee-owned nursing facility. This position does share with the On Call rotation.

As a Unit Manager at Miller’s, you are responsible for the nursing care and service to the patients on your unit, and you supervise the staff assigned to deliver patient care.  Your duties will include:

  • Inputting orders and updating patient charts
  • Communicating with resident families and health care professionals
  • Participating in care plans and representing the nurse management team
  • Mentoring charge nurses, QMAs, and CNAs
  • Monitor resident showers
  • Assist in Dining Room
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

 General:

1. Currently licensed and registered to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Indiana.
2. Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening.
3. Pass the physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility.
4. Professional manner and appearance.
