Job Description

1.      Promotes Agency to physicians, assisted living and SNF, hospitals, senior community, churches, etc.

 

2.      Maintains active knowledge of home care regulations and standards updates and changes.

 

3.      Educates referral sources through inservices and specific topic presentations related to home health.

 

4.      Available to assist with referrals.  Pick up documentation from sources, deliver materials to Agency office.

 

5.      Assist with paperwork compliance by educating on physicians and referrals sources regarding current requirements.

 

6.      Able to prepare and present marketing and education seminars, presentations to customers, community members, professional and or community organizations.

     

7.      Understand home health referral and care process in order to educate referral sources..

 

8.      Maintain inventory of promotional items.  Utilize items in an effective manner.

 

9.      Represent Agency at consumer events, promotional events, meetings, conferences, etc.

 

10.  Orders and maintains education materials for inservices.

 

11.  Will maintain confidentiality of all patient information, and ensure office processes and

work areas will maintain confidentiality of patient information.

 

12.  Attends meetings as directed by Director of Sales/Chief Eexecutive Officer to develop a cohesive marketing plan to stay on task with our goal of increasing census.

Qualifications

Good working knowledge of home health or healthcare issues with strong interpersonal skills, organized, goal oriented and able to work within a team concept.  Ability and experience with public speaking.
