Job Description

We are currently seeking a Group Operations & Logistics Coordinator to join our team and play a central coordination role across the Logistics and Operations functions, creating visibility of priorities, initiatives, risks and performance to support informed decision-making, accountability and execution.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Group Operations, the Group Operations & Logistics Coordinator works across multiple stakeholders, functions and locations to coordinate activities, drive follow-up actions, and ensure information, decisions and commitments are effectively communicated, tracked and progressed. Through the preparation of reports, presentations, business updates and governance materials, the position enables alignment, accountability and the successful delivery of operational and strategic objectives.

Working closely with operational leaders in EHS, Logistics, Equipment, Transport and Depots, the role facilitates collaboration, supports planning processes, coordinates activities, and ensures leaders have the information, visibility and support required to optimise business outcomes.

Here is some of what you will be do:

  • Act as a central point of coordination between stakeholders to ensure commitments, actions and deliverables remain visible, are progressed and completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Coordinate assigned activities, priorities and initiatives across the Logistics and Operations functions to support effective execution of business objectives.
  • Create visibility of key operational performance measures, risks, projects and action plans through reporting, dashboards, presentations and business updates.
  • Develop presentations, reports, business cases, briefing papers, communications and other materials to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate governance forums, leadership meetings, workshops and reviews, including agenda development, meeting facilitation, minute taking, action tracking and follow-up.
  • Support planning, budgeting, project governance and performance review activities across multiple operational functions.
  • Support leaders to monitor progress against business plans, strategic initiatives and operational improvement programmes.
  • Maintain tracking systems for projects, actions, risks, opportunities and business priorities, ensuring visibility and accountability across stakeholders.
  • Coordinate information gathering and analysis from multiple functions to support reporting, planning and decision-making.
  • Support the development, review and maintenance of business documentation, standards, procedures, templates and governance materials.
  • Identify opportunities to improve coordination, administration, communication, planning and reporting processes.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and alignment to improve operational outcomes and ensure initiatives maintain momentum.

Qualifications

You are an organised and proactive professional who enjoys working collaboratively and building strong relationships across a business. You have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.  

Here is what you’ll bring to the table:

  • Experience in business coordination, administration, operations, logistics or project support roles.
  • Experience preparing reports, presentations and governance materials.
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders and functions.
  • Relevant qualification in Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, Project Management or similar desirable.
