Reporting to the Vice President of International, the Regional Sales Director (RSD), Mexico is responsible for leading all commercial activities for FIJI Water and Wonderful Wines portfolio across Mexico, from strategic planning through in-market execution, to deliver profitable and sustainable growth. This role requires a strong commercial leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, working cross-functionally to drive distribution, market share, and brand presence.
Job Description
Commercial Leadership & P&L Ownership
- Own full market P&L, including revenue, volume, pricing, and market share targets
- Lead annual planning, forecasting, and multi-year business strategy
- Manage trade investment to ensure optimal ROI
- Drive pricing strategy, SKU mix, and channel mix to deliver profitability goals
Route-to-Market & Distributor Management
- Develop and optimize route-to-market strategy across on-trade, retail, and eCommerce channels
- Lead distributor selection, onboarding, and ongoing performance management
- Partner with distributors to drive execution excellence across availability, visibility, and promotions
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue and improve cost efficiency, including co-investment initiatives
Key Account & Trade Management
- Lead negotiations with key national and regional accounts
- Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with distributors and key customers
- Expand distribution across priority accounts and channels
- Set account-level goals and maintain strong relationships to unlock growth opportunities
- Monitor competitive activity and translate insights into actionable strategies
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Marketing to align brand initiatives with commercial objectives
- Collaborate with Operations and Logistics to ensure forecast accuracy and service levels
- Work with Finance to manage budgets, report monthly financials, and oversee accruals, invoicing, and financial controls
- Partner with Category Insights and Marketing to develop impactful customer presentations
Market Execution & Operations
- Oversee end-to-end sales process, including purchase orders, fulfillment coordination, and distributor execution
- Ensure strong in-market execution across merchandising, promotions, and brand standards
- Conduct product training for accounts and support key customer engagements
- Identify and participate in key events and activations to drive brand awareness
- Monitor market trends and anticipate shifts in customer and competitive dynamics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of experience in CPG, beverage, FMCG, or luxury goods
- 5+ years of experience in:
- P&L management, including financial planning and forecasting
- Distributor management within a CPG environment
- Strong understanding of sales, trade marketing, and route-to-market strategy
- Proven success managing key accounts and negotiating with senior stakeholders
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strategic thinker with strong execution orientation
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Ability to operate independently and lead in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong relationship builder across customers, distributors, and internal teams
- Effective communicator with strong presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
This role will require up to 20% travel internationally and may require going into our Wonderful office in Mexico City. You will have the right to live and work in Mexico at the time of applying. The successful candidate may be subject to undergo a Police Check and/or Pre-Employment Drug Test.
