The Wonderful Career Center Senior Manager is responsible for the operational leadership of the Wonderful Career Center (WCC), a vocational and skill-based training center serving employees across The Wonderful Company and tenants within the Wonderful Logistics Center.

This role oversees facility operations, staff leadership, program development, instructional quality, scheduling, and performance metrics to ensure the delivery of high-impact, industry-relevant training programs.

The Senior Manager ensures that training initiatives align with operational needs across diverse business units including Wonderful Pistachios, POM Wonderful, Wonderful Citrus (Halos), Fiji Water, Justin Wine, Wonderful Logistics Center (WLC) tenants such as Walmart, Amazon, Target, Smucker’s, American Tire, and others.

Job Description

Leadership & Staff Management

  • Lead and optimize performance of WCC staff, including performance management, coaching, resource allocation, and conflict resolution.
  • Assign instructors and development staff to program design and delivery initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and instructional excellence.
  • Develop internal staff capabilities to meet evolving training demands.

Program Development & Instruction

  • Oversee needs assessments with business units and WLC tenants to define training objectives.
  • Direct development and launch of new vocational and technical training programs.
  • Ensure curriculum quality, instructional effectiveness, and measurable outcomes.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes based on participant and stakeholder feedback.
  • Support recruitment of new trainees from business units and WLC tenants

Operations & Scheduling

  • Create and manage comprehensive training schedules aligned with facility capacity and business demand.
  • Ensure all scheduled training courses are executed on time and of high quality.
  • Oversee facility utilization and operational readiness.
  • Coordinate classroom, lab, and technical resource allocation.

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Define, track, and report key performance indicators for all training programs.
  • Maintain transparent, real-time reporting dashboards for executive leadership.
  • Monitor program completion rates, customer satisfaction, skill attainment metrics, and capacity utilization.
  • Recommend improvements based on performance data.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Workforce Development, Organizational Leadership, Technical Training, or related field required.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in vocational training, workforce development, or technical education leadership.
  • 3 years experience managing staff and leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience leading and being responsible for new technical, vocational, or skill-based training program design and launch.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
