Job Description

We are seeking a Recruiter for Early Careers to join our team on a temporary basis. This role involves hands-on engagement with college scholars, providing essential career development support, including resume building, interview preparation, and general workforce readiness.  In parallel, a component of sourcing and recruiting talent specifically for our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team and related initiatives will be a priority. This person will be working part-time, 20 - 25 hours a week, and will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday - Wednesday, with the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

I. Scholar Development & Workforce Readiness (60%):  

  • ​Career Advising: Provide personalized one-on-one and group coaching sessions to college scholars enrolled in our partner programs or internal initiatives.  
  • Resume Building Workshops: Design and deliver engaging workshops focused on creating effective, impactful resumes and cover letters tailored to various industries.  
  • ​Interview Preparation: Conduct mock interviews, provide constructive feedback, and offer strategies for successful interviewing, including behavioral questions and professional communication.  
  • Workforce Readiness: Offer guidance on professional etiquette, networking strategies, personal branding, and understanding corporate environments.  
  • ​Program Support: Assist in the coordination and logistics of scholar development events, mentorship programs, and career fairs, both virtual and in-person.  
  • ​Resource Development: Create and update helpful resources (e.g., templates, guides, tip sheets) to support scholars in their career journeys.  

​​II. CSR Team Recruitment (40%):  

  • ​Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for various roles within the CSR department, including full-time, part-time, and internship positions.  
  • ​Talent Sourcing: Proactively identify and engage a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates through various channels.  
  • ​Applicant Tracking System (ATS): Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and recruitment activity within our ATS.  
  • ​Cross-Functional Initiatives: Open to travel as needed for CSR projects and/or other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • ​​Minimum 3 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment; knowledge of early career and/or the university recruitment space is preferred. 
  • ​Exceptional communication with the ability to connect effectively with diverse audiences, from senior leaders to college students.  
  • ​Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.  
  • ​Passion for corporate social responsibility and making a positive community impact. ​ 

Education and Experience:

  • ​​Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.  
  • ​Demonstrated experience or strong interest in career counseling, mentorship, or youth development.  

Additional Information

Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00/hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
