Our team has a great opportunity for a for a Director of Sales, Distribution, whose territory will include the US central region.    

The Director of Sales, Distribution, is a key leader on the FIJI Water Team, and is expected to drive distribution growth and sales performance across our network. This role will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with distributors, optimizing distribution strategies, and ensuring seamless product availability in key markets. In this role, you will serve as the strategic lead for our On-Premise and Retail distributor partners, developing and implementing the full-year plan while executing brand strategies. This position reports to the VP of Sales, Central Division.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute sales distribution strategy to drive market expansion and revenue growth
  • Develop and maintain relationships at the highest level with distributor partners, key accounts, industry associations and other key customers
  • Manage Distributor & Account Level P&L for branded portfolio
  • Develop strategic customer plans and metric driven customer-centric business reviews
  • Achieve desired results in a matrixed organization to ensure alignment and collaboration
  • Ensure positive customer experiences, value creation, and growth
  • Play a key leadership role in working with the necessary field sales teams and marketing to have an overall enterprise contribution to meet objectives
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to drive data-driven decision-making
  • Ensure key results and strategies are fully developed, implemented, and represented in all accounts
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional programs with distributor partners
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously developing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
  • Evaluates ROI prior to recommending POS or customized solutions
  • Develop and execute customer specific programs and be on budget
  • Assist in development and delivery of annual business review with each of your key customers
  • Post event analysis and evaluate promotional effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience selling multiple product lines (ideally from multiple companies or brands) to multiple customers across all Channels (Retail:  Food, Convenience, Specialty and On-Premises)
  • A minimum of 5 years field management experience working with internal Sales Managers in the beverage industry is preferred
  • Experience in managing a Distributor Network, Broadliners, and Account HQ
  • Working knowledge of IRI and other syndicated data, Power BI, and Power Apps
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform sales distribution strategies
  • Strong appreciation for the Wonderful Company values and culture especially related to health and wellness
  • You are comfortable with traveling up to 50% for working with team, customers meetings, trade shows, collaboration, and conferences or amount discussed with VP of Sales
  • Required BS/BA Degree and/or minimum CPG (or similar industry) sales experience of 7-10 years demonstrating progressive responsibility and achievements

Pay Range: $120,000-$140,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
