Reporting to the Purchasing and Inventory Manager, the Warehouse Clerk will replenish stock inventory, provide primary customer counter support, handle all incoming freight, warehouse housekeeping, and assist in all warehousing activities such as stocking, cleaning and perform buying duties when necessary.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support Orchards customers at the counter and answer phones.
• Offload and check-in all vendor deliveries
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (unload, label, store)
• Maintain warehouse inventory, organizing, re-stocking, FIFO and report any discrepancies.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Use safe practices and principles working around the warehouse and shops.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

Additional Functions

• Forklift Daily Inspections
• Fuel Island Maintenance

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Basic Knowledge in Fleet Focus and Parts Inventory Reporting
• Troubleshooting
• Consistent attendance and reliability
• Exhibit safety conscious behavior
• Exhibit great customer service skills.
• Support Continuous Improvement activities to improve overall performance.
• Works effectively individually or on a team to complete goals or tasks.
• Ability to work in a high energy and pace culture.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Communicate issues or concerns to manager in a timely manner.
• Safely operate all job-related machinery and equipment.
• Microsoft Office Programs
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:

• Forklift Certification preferred but not required.
• Valid California Driver’s License with reliable transportation to and from work.

-Pay Range: $18/hr - $18.30/hr. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
