Job Description

Are you a compassionate and experienced Physician Assistant with expertise in diabetes care? Join our dedicated team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care, and make a significant impact on the lives of employees at Wonderful Pistachios!

As a Physician Assistant specializing in diabetes management, you will:

  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care for patients with glandular and metabolic imbalances, including diabetes, thyroid conditions, and insulin medication changes.
  • Perform patient histories, physical exams, and lab analysis to formulate treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and health coaches to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Support community engagement initiatives, patient management, referral tracking, and mobile clinic operations.
  • Serve as an expert in diabetes disease management and prevention.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited PA program with national certification and a valid DEA number.
  • 5+ years of clinical diabetes experience.
  • Proven expertise in diabetes diagnoses, intervention, and care management.
  • Leadership skills and a passion for population health.
  • Written and verbal fluency in Spanish.
  • Technological proficiency with MS Office, EMR systems, tablets, and smartphones.
  • Travel required to Lost Hills Clinic, Delano clinic, and Mobile Clinic.

  • Pay Range: $150,000 - $175,000 and is eligible for a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience. Additionally, this position is eligible for a monthly car allowance.
