Finance Analyst will be a key part of the finance team based Del Rey, CA. This position is expected to provide both financial and strategic business leadership and communicate effectively with senior management.

The role will need to understand how operational decisions and processes shape the business and financial results in order to educate others inside and outside the Finance/Accounting groups in analyzing P&L results

Key Stakeholders: Various departments in Del Rey and Buttonwillow sites to include Fresh, Beverage, Supplychain Operations leaders, support department such HR, Quality, Sanitation, Safety, Customer Service, Corporate Finance & Accounting teams. This particular finance role will also have interaction with our largest outside growers.
Interesting Projects: We are always looking to improve our processes and our operational team's financial prowess which can be comprised of developing new KPI's for new businesses like spring Arils to supporting operations teams in quantifying savings from process changes to NPD packaging trials.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly close, variance explanations; prepare Journal Entries, general ledger analysis, and other accounting related processes
• Manage monthly cost center reviews – including presentation of financial results to senior management
• Prepare Plant KPI’s and participate in KPI reviews
• Manage Outside Grower process – including creating related purchase orders, preparing the daily pack-outs and payment calculations
• Utilize Oracle financial system and other software to compile, develop and communicate value-added reporting tools.

• Minimum of 1-3 years of progressive experience in finance or a related filed
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Oracle or similar ERP system experience highly preferred
• Effective communications and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform financial analysis, including ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations
• Demonstrated intermediate-advanced proficiency in Excel

Pay Range: $65,000-$75,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
