We are looking for a motivated and fast learning Senior Accountant who enjoys interaction and collaboration with various teams within the organization. This role will play a key role in completing period close tasks and apply principles of accounting to analyze accounting data, prepare reconciliations and analyses, including wine / alcohol compliance reporting data and filings. This individual will be able to work within tight deadlines and drive continuous improvement to deliverables and processes. It will also provide high level of exposure to end-to-end accounting processes, as well as reporting and analysis to both internal and external parties.

• Oversee Inter / Intra company transactions, activities, and reconciliations.
• Prioritize and manage timely completion of period close tasks, including preparation of trend analysis, preparation / review of journal entries and various reconciliation. 
• Maintain financial records in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Support prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliation and drive timely resolution as needed.
• Prepare compliance reporting and filing of fees, maintain and oversees license renewals.
• Participate in ERP and front-end systems enhancement project as requested.
• Drive efficiencies and implement lean practices.
• Assist completing ad hoc requests.

• 5+ years of experience in Corporate Accounting (mix of public and corporate is okay); Wine industry, highly preferred
• Experience in winery operations, as well as associated compliance issues, is a plus
• CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or a business-related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
• Experience using Oracle Fusion, Ship Compliant and Avalara (nice to have but not crucial)
• Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and work quickly/accurately under pressure
• Should be organized, goal oriented, energetic, team player and responsive.
• Ability to quickly, strategically, and decisively take action in fast-changing, unpredictable situations.
• Ability to plan and meet timelines.

Pay Range: $100,000-$110,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
