At Wonderful Orchards, we are seeking a temporary Warehouse Clerk for our Eastside shop. The Warehouse Clerk will report to the Procurement Manager. This position will replenish stock inventory, provide primary customer counter support, handle all incoming freight, warehouse housekeeping and assist in all warehousing activities such as stocking, cleaning and perform buying duties when necessary.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support Orchards customers at the Counter and answer phones.
• Offload and check-in all vendor deliveries
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (unload, label, store)
• Maintain Warehouse Inventory, organizing, re-stocking, FIFO and report any discrepancies
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Use safe practices and principles working around the warehouse and shops.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Support Continuous Improvement activities to improve overall performance.

Additional Functions

• Forklift Daily Inspections
• Fuel Island Maintenance

Critical Skills:

• Basic Knowledge in Fleet Focus and Parts Inventory Reporting
• Exhibit great customer service skills
• Works effectively individually or on a team to complete goals or tasks
• Ability to work in a high energy and pace culture
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to communicate issues or concerns to manager in a timely manner
• Ability to safely operate all job-related machinery and equipment.

Education and/or Experience:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Entry-Level computer skills specific to Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Certifications and Licenses:

• Valid California Driver’s License with reliable transportation to and from work
• Forklift Certification preferred but not required

Pay Range: $17.50 - $19.00. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
