Job Description

Overview: 

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for maintaining production equipment availability and performance at satisfactory levels through the planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting of repair activities. The Planner/Scheduler works closely with Maintenance Management to ensure that all customers receive timely, efficient, and quality service.

Here's what you'll do:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitating/leading the daily work order approval meetings.
  • Planning all corrective work and creating the planned maintenance schedule.
  • Creating, updating, validating preventive/predictive maintenance plans on all assigned assets.
  • Determining resource requirements to complete work and assign tasks to specific resources. Interaction with departments to obtain resources may be required.
  • Planning, scheduling, and coordination of all plannable maintenance work performed
  • Participating in planned maintenance downtime periods in support of the maintenance team, and assisting with problem solving, work prioritization and resource re-allocation.
  • Rescheduling incomplete work to the next planned maintenance downtime period and capture all required information in the CMMS.
  • Reviewing, prioritizing, and organizing backlog.
  • Conducting analysis on maintenance data to identify failure modes and recommend root cause failure analysis.
  • Shift Hours: 5:00am-1:30pm

Qualifications

Here's what you'll bring to the table:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, plus at least 6 months of administrative experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical machinery/systems
  • Strong aptitude to learn new tasks.
  • Ability to schedule maintenance activities through in-depth use of CMMS system.
  • Must be able to identify and prioritize multiple projects and perform work with a constant awareness of improving processes.
  • Proven delivery of superior customer service with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a busy work environment
  • Ability to take direction well and work with minimal supervision

Pay Range: $31.20 - $37.31
