We are looking for an IT Asset Manager to establish and drive an effective IT asset management program for our organization and serve as the product manager for the supporting suite of asset management tools. You will be part of a talented team that drives IT maturity and new technologies across our enterprise.

This position will be based at our West Los Angeles office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required for project and support purposes.

Job Description

  • Become a trusted advisor for our technology leadership on IT asset management
  • Communicate IT asset management program value and impact to senior management
  • Define, manage, govern, and improve the software asset management program and strategy
  • Define and monitor critical success factors and KPIs
  • Identify, evaluate, and drive forward cost savings opportunities using IT asset management tools
  • Identify software license reharvesting and redeployment opportunities
  • Produce IT asset management reports per governance requirements
  • Manage software profile of organization and lifecycle of software assets
  • Develop standard software license request procedure and maintains managed software list
  • Identify software licensing overspend or underutilization
  • Ensure application recognition capability of discovery tools
  • Manage software asset audits and takes necessary corrective actions
  • Maintain software licensing support schedule and initiate renewal requirement analysis
  • Provide input and metrics to support supplier contract negotiations

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience with IT asset management and related software – experience with ServiceNow ITAM highly preferred
  • Experience operating across desktop, server, and virtual machine environments – experience with cloud application deployment and maintenance preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to provide asset management thought leadership to business leadership
  • Project management understanding and experience
  • Domain expertise gained through working on the application or certification programs
  • Knowledge of industry best practice approaches and standards
  • Strong communication within own team or department at operational level and with users at peer / leadership / middle management level
  • Self-starter and outcome-oriented mentality
  • Exposure in Cloud technologies - AWS, Google, Azure

Pay Rate: $100,000 - $125,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
