Job Description
The Quality Lead will play a pivotal role in carrying out and promoting our quality assurance processes at our Bend, OR production facility. We are an entrepreneurial driven, fast paced organization with decade long, double-digit growth that hires highly motivated and trained professionals for our teams.
This is a unique opportunity for a Production/Quality professional that wants to create the best products which are fundamentally changing the nature of the global food supply. This person will perform routine inspections during the production process, in addition to managing full circle investigations when non-conformances occur. We're looking for those who can play a pivotal role in the management of our raw materials, finished goods and quality assurance processes.
This position is based in our Bend, Oregon headquarters and offers a set schedule in a modern production facility.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Authority on quality processes within operations.
Conducts complete investigations when required to test theories and prove root cause failures.
Conducts structured problem-solving sessions with affected team members after a breakdown of a quality process or observation of non-conformance
Responsible for the continual audits of finished goods output and the operating staff’s adherence to quality procedures.
Understands the ERP system including posting, tracking material usage, and determining scope of affected materials.
In-depth understanding of production equipment
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to develop statistical confidence in key decisions.
Confident in the ability to do the right thing for the business even in tense situations.
Demonstrated experience managing short and long-term projects.
Energetic, can-do approach when faced with new challenges.
Bachelor’s Degree or greater achievement in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial)
