The Manager, Financial Reporting will oversee and direct GAAP / IFRS adherence as well as all financial reporting for FIJI Water Company Holding, Luxury Wine Holdings, and subsidiaries. They will oversee the analysis, preparation, and reporting of both GAAP and IFRS compliant company financial data. This role requires strong technical accounting skills including knowledge of IFRS for our diverse multinational entities.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of corporate accounting in addition to 2+ years of public accounting. You should enjoy working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, complex environment. As well as, be self-motivated, detail oriented and have a commitment to continuous improvement.

Job Description

  • Responsible for GAAP and IFRS financial statements for global operations in 20+ countries, 15+ currencies, including US, Fiji, Singapore, UK, New Zealand
  • 40+ Statutory audits and tax packages annually
  • Provide internal and external finance regulatory reports and all government finance requirements relating to audit work (statutory & third party)
  • Record  tax provisions and prepare tax packages that include multiple foreign entities, for both IFRS and GAAP reporting purposes
  • Research, analyze and conclude on technical accounting issues for GAAP and IFRS, including the preparation of memos that document the Company’s position in a clear, logical and comprehensive manner. 
  • Work to implement new Accounting Standards as necessary
  • Manage Accounting related projects
  • Ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience, including 2+ years of public accounting and 3+ years of corporate accounting
  • CPA and strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP required.
  • Strong working knowledge of cost accounting and associated IFRS matters 
  • Experience with preparing, coordinating, and conducting statutory audit activities for a global organization with 20+ entities
  • Excellent technical accounting background and knowledge of accounting, tax and finance compliance
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems, participation in a reporting system conversion a plus
  • Experience with consolidation models and systems (Oracle FCC experience a plus)
  • Proven problem-solving skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending corrective action 
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections 
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work with globally dispersed teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
  • Travel up to 10% (domestic & international) 

Pay Range: $115,000 - $135,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
