We are seeking a motivated and responsible Wonderful Scholar for full time 8-week internship. In this position, you will gain hands on professional experience and learn how the department runs.

This position will be based onsite at POM Wonderful located in Del Rey, CA.  This schedule for this internship is Monday- Friday occasionally weekends 40 hours a week.

Compensation: $17.00 

Environmental and Water Monitoring Programs

Assists with the Environmental and Water Monitoring Program and prepares samples for 3rd party laboratory testing. Perform in-house testing as needed.

On-Site Micro Testing

Assist in daily micro testing for finished goods and / or raw ingredients, ensuring that the product is in compliance.

Harvest Lot Testing

Assists in collecting samples and preparing them for 3rd party laboratory testing.

Data Entry and Recordkeeping

Logs all testing results in the designated location and communicates results to Microbiologist. Assists in maintaining testing records, including food safety, ingredients, and special project results.

• Must be Wonderful Scholar enrolled in the College Success program.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Required/Preferred degree in.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed and able to work autonomously. 
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
• COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption.
