Our Consumer Direct Representative position is an excellent opportunity for candidates to gain temporary to full-time employment with us while working from the comfort of your own home. As a Consumer Direct Representative for Teleflora, you will represent the company, acting as a front-line contact for our customers, consumers or florists. If you like helping and speaking with people but don’t have call center experience, we will train you! We have a friendly and encouraging staff that is available when needed, and they help make each holiday fun by hosting games and other festivities. This role will be 40 hours a week, during first shift hours, and work at home or hybrid schedules are avilable. 

Job Description

  • Receive incoming calls and enter orders or messages on behalf of our member shops when they are closed or have their phone lines transferred to us
  • Provide assistance with existing orders to identify, troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns
  • Research and resolve credit card issues and customer concerns
  • Conduct outbound calls to our floral partners to place orders to ensure successful order completion
  • Meet/exceed the daily, weekly and monthly performance metrics

Qualifications

  • Prior customer service, call center or florist experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills - friendly, courteous, and helpful - and be an active listener
  • Strong written, accurate spelling, and oral communication skills to write card messages, document notes, and enter accurate order data
  • Ability to speak clearly in a well-modulated voice using good diction and grammar and effectively communicate a product’s features and benefits
  • Capability to make independent decisions within our guidelines 
  • Basic math, computer, and keyboarding skills required
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and navigate between multiple browser windows
  • Equipment required
    • Desktop or laptop with at least Windows10 operating system
    • headset with microphone
    • Strong internet connection of at least 5Mbps (download speed)

    • No satellite or Hughesnet
