The Manufacturing Lead will closely monitor production runs according the run plan and the Fresh Pack plan as well as coordinating with the Packer, Grader and Process Checker leads to maintain standards. Lead the daily operations team and oversee the overall quality, safety, GMP’s and employee performance of their assigned areas. The Manufacturing lead will work daily with the staff to ensure efficient work performance by training, coaching, developing and correcting employee behavior. This leadership role will direct the work of hourly staff and will be responsible for the overall performance of the department. In addition to do any other tasks as assigned by their manager.

• Direct and coordinate the activities of Fresh personnel,  as directed by production manager of Fresh
• Monitor/Assess performance of Fresh Sizer operators in Fruit distribution, grading, packing & process quality checks, in order to make improvements   
• Schedule re-training for Sizer operators, packers, graders, process checkers if any corrective action is noted or monitored for performance in fruit distribution, packing, grading, fruit quality & compliance
• Capable of following written and verbal instructions
• Perform any other work as assigned

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to provide guidance and assistance to all levels of employees
• Professional communication skills
• Demonstrate problem solving and conflict management skills
• Provide presentations and lead meetings as required
• Ability to use Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• 2-4 years in a fast paced leadership role in production
• Computer literacy w/ databases, word processing, spreadsheets.
• Excellent organizational and communications skills.

          Compensation Range: $20.00-$22.00
