We currently have a great opportunity for a Warehouse Clerk to join our team in Bronx, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for all of the warehouse duties to support our day-to-day operations and will report directly to the DSD Warehouse Manager. A valid Driver's License is required for this position. 

Job Description

  • Receiving and unloading of incoming shipments
  • Loading trucks for outgoing deliveries
  • Assembling customer / driver orders including pulling cases, assembling pallets or racks, preparing for shipment and checking for pick accuracy
  • Delivering product direct to stores and/or customer warehouse, whenever needed
  • Maintaining inventory control of all warehouse items
  • Maintaining personal and food safety and compliance standards
  • Coordinating general maintenance and cleaning of warehouse and equipment
  • Maintaining personal and food safety and compliance standards
  • Attending and participate in all sales / safety meetings

Qualifications

  • Ability to use material handling equipment, specifically a forklift and pallet jack
  • Valid Driver’s License and no major driving infractions 
  • Ability to drive a 16-foot box truck (no CDL required)
  • Ability to lift 15-40 pounds
  • Drug screen and background investigation will be conducted
  • Highly motivated self-starter 
  • Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively, both internally and externally
  • Good math and communication skills with the ability to read, write and speak English
  • An enthusiastic, positive, self-motivated, resourceful team player is a must

Pay Range: $15.00-$20.00. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.

The Wonderful Sales team is responsible for the sales of Wonderful produce items through supermarkets and retailers across the U.S. and Canada. Our associates support nearly 20,000 stores and are devoted to promoting our high-quality branded products. The team consists of sales professionals, merchandisers, a direct store delivery group in New York, and a Los Angeles-based headquarters staff, which includes finance, analytics, and support.
