The Manager of CRM (Salesforce) and Data will be responsible for maintaining and improving the CRM system’s functionality within Wonderful Education. The Manager will manage the day-to-day tasks related to using our CRM system, solving user issues and requests, training employees on using the system, and extend the existing functionality of the platform as the business changes, evolves or expands. The role will also include providing support for our Health and Wellness and Community data needs to increase the flexibility and agility of our overall team.

The Manager will drive the ongoing maintenance, system improvements, development, architecture, and overall functionality of the CRM. They will also be responsible for responding to both ongoing scheduled reports and ad hoc requests related to performing analysis, creating views, visualizations, and dashboards to illustrate insights from data held within the CRM and other department systems.

This position requires a collaborative and adaptable leader looking for the next step in their career. 

This position will be based at our office in Los Angeles or Central Valley, CA and working a hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the office. Occasional travel throughout the Central Valley and/or to our Los Angeles HQ through our corporate-provided aviation team.

Job Description

  • Responsible for maintaining and improving the CRM system’s functionality by continually reviewing internal processes and new CRM functionality to develop new methods and processes as the business changes, evolves or expands This may include:
    • CRM development, architecture changes, resolving automation challenges, or other system improvements that may be required to ensure the ongoing continuous improvement of the system, data outputs and/or related processes
    • Manage the day-to-day tasks related to using our CRM system, including trouble shooting user issues and overall administration of users in the system
    • Gate keeping of the data and security; to ensure accuracy, completeness, and database integrity, automating processes, creating reports and dashboards, and training employees
    • Collection and verification of data
    • Train employees on using the system and maintain training materials as needed
  • Creating reports and dashboards to present data through charts, graphs, maps, and infographics to facilitate decision making and achievement tracking for Wonderful Education programs
  • Execute analysis and reporting of metrics, key indicators, and results across our various CSR programs
  • Assume and execute additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Los Angeles or Central Valley, CA based and open to occasional (1-2 time per quarter) travel
  • Adheres to a culture of professionalism, operational excellence and drive for results

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of experience with CRM maintenance and development, data analysis, reporting, and/or project management
  • Bachelor's degree required with preferred concentration in business, information technology, data science, analytics, or engineering
  • MBA desirable
  • Strong Salesforce platform knowledge, with the proven ability to configure, customize, develop and update architecture.
  • Knowledge and experience with data management, data validation tools, data analysis, and creating reports and dashboards.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, R, SQL, Python, and related tools (ie: Alteryx) a plus.
  • Salesforce Administrator, Developer, Architect, certifications of all levels a plus
  • Experience in education and academic student data a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce (Admin, Developer certification-level capabilities)
  • Outstanding Microsoft Excel skills and experience with business intelligence tools
  • Strong project management skills, having managed and successfully completed diverse projects
  • Superior cross-functional collaborator with the ability to build relationships within an organization
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills as well as attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience working with geographically dispersed teams
  • Excellent communication, analytic and problem-solving skills; sound business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment with little direction

Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
