Through the Wonderful Career Center (WCC) we are offering a free Technical Operator Training program to train high school graduates in the surrounding communities to help launch their career towards higher paying roles with companies like the Wonderful Companies and our Industrial Park Partners.  It is our goal 100% of the trainee graduates get a job after this program with the support of the Wonderful Company Career Center services.

Job Description

The Wonderful Technical Operator Program is an unpaid, free training program that aims to prepares students for a high-paying role through mechanical or electrical training right after high school.  You will learn the basics of electrical and mechanics through lectures, videos, and hands-on mini-lab activities.  We are looking for students with life or work experiences in problem solving who are not to work with equipment or technology.  If you have a willingness to learn and work hard – this training is for you! 

After completion of the TOP’s program, Trainees will be qualified for positions at the Wonderful Company that pay up to $19.00 an hour and pay a sign-on bonus of $1,000 upon hire.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Commitment to complete the 2-week training program
