We are looking for a passionate ERP Applications leader (Director of Applications, Finance and Accounting) that will help us achieve our Finance and Accounting transformation goals at the Wonderful Company. This position will directly report into IT exec management and will partner with other leaders within IT, business unit executives and user community, and Strategy teams to guide, build and deliver enterprise software solutions in Finance and Accounting areas. You will be leading a highly talented team of senior application managers and business analysts.

Job Description

  • Nurture and grow a strong applications team – both onsite and offshore, inculcating customer-first, “quality with speed” mindset, and exhibiting a strong servant-leadership philosophy
  • Oversee the rollout of Oracle Cloud Fusion as the standardized enterprise ERP platform for Finance processes across all BU’s
  • Work with BU Finance and Accounting leaders and identify opportunities for business transformation that can be brought about through technology solutions
  • Work with BU leaders, IT pillar leaders and external partners to architect and deliver end-to-end finance and accounting solutions using Oracle Cloud Fusion, Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud EPM Suite/Hyperion and other systems and applications
  • Plan, budget, manage, prioritize and deliver the pipeline of finance pillar application initiatives, including resource and capacity planning
  • Collaborate with IT exec management, industry analysts and business stakeholders to create and continuously update enterprise platform for Finance and Accounting applications
  • Partner with Strategy and IT pillar leaders and support in the rollout of various digital transformation technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning to various business units
  • Provide day-to-day tactical support to delivery teams while engaging IT management at a strategic level
  • Partner with IT board members in new software evaluation and recommendation
  • Build out effective engagement models with consulting partners to address internal capacity fluctuations and skill gaps
  • 10-15% travel to various BU locations expected

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading application teams (10+ reports) in ERP Application Delivery in Oracle Cloud Fusion, e-Business Suite and EPM
  • Expert level knowledge in architecting finance and accounting solutions covering the following systems/modules: Oracle Fusion Financials including Projects, Oracle EBS Financials, Oracle Hyperion, Oracle EPM Suite (Planning and Budgeting, Financial Consolidation and Close).
  • Expert level domain understanding and functional knowledge in Financials and Accounting. Knowledge in other areas such as supply chain, operations and sales preferred
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting or a related field is required; CPA/Chartered Accountant or Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting is a plus.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in partnering with CFO’s and senior leaders in finance and accounting and delivering world class IT solutions
  • Experience in standardizing finance and accounting processes across BU’s in Oracle Fusion ERP platform, bringing in industry leading practices
  • Experience in managing large application transformation and implementation projects with multiple stakeholders, and teams
  • Experience in developing and communicating IT Applications vision and roadmap that aligns with IT and business strategy
  • Strong leadership skills in building cross-functional and geographically dispersed high-performance teams including on-site/off-shore/near-shore models
  • Well versed in various project management methodologies and execution
  • Experience integrating a wide variety of finance adjacent applications/partners to core financial ERP system – e.g. Banks, RPA tools, EPM, Reconciliation tools, HRIS
  • Experiencing in setting up onsite/offshore models to provide world class support to growing list of applications in the finance and accounting areas
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; experience in communicating to exec management, particularly CFO’s in a succinct, easy to understand manner
  • Experience building business cases and tracking business benefits for application implementation initiatives
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi BU/multi stakeholder environment
  • Experience in application and technology rationalization and optimization
  • Experience with IT system audits and reporting
  • Experience with providing system related support in building shared services (e.g. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables)
  • Experience building Center of Excellence teams for delivering Financial and Accounting system related innovation and capability

Pay Range: $200,000 - $210,000, and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
