As part of this effort, we are looking to build out, our IT Project Management Office (PMO).

The Project Manager will have the unique opportunity to help design and shape the future project management capabilities at The Wonderful Company.

The Project Manager is responsible for execution and governance aspect of the PMO Office for several business transformation and technology projects. This individual will be responsible for the planning of project activities, prioritization, budget management, task follow up, communications and schedule maintenance. The Project Manager is responsible for directly and indirectly driving project execution efforts while ensuring that deliverables meet internal and external customer requirements including progress reporting and reviews by senior leadership. Also, responsible for enforcing that the established tools and methodologies will be used with consistency and repeatability in delivering projects.

Job Description

  • Plan and facilitate process mapping, requirement collection, conference room pilots, testing and training sessions with user and partner teams
  • Analyze project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process for accomplishing projects
  • Facilitate collaboration between various project teams/stake holders, handle change and conflict
  • Maintain project plans, issues logs, test plans, and formal documentation for stakeholder meetings
  • Identifies and tracks critical path/activities, dependencies, risks, contingencies and alternatives and offer suggestions to get projects back on track when necessary
  • Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle, and confer with project staff to outline work plan
  • Present deliverables, risks, issues and status to senior stakeholders and managers
  • Interact and partner with various operational dependent constituents such as IT, business analysts/leaders, SME's & other stakeholders
  • Coordinate resource allocations across projects. Identify, coordinate and manage project resources and resource assignments
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to handle changes in project scope, schedule and cost
  • Ensure that project goals are accomplished and are in line with business objectives
  • Continuously benchmark project management performance to identify improvements and achieve higher capability maturity in project and portfolio management
  • Other responsibilities include preparing meeting agendas, recording meeting minutes, tracking action items, coordinating global and sub-team activities and disseminating project information

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree (bachelor’s degree or the global equivalent)
  • 10+ years of business user facing project management experience with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving are required
  • 10+ years of experience in Oracle EBS or Oracle Fusion software implementation required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) credential through Project Management Institute (PMI) is preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple project management tools and methods (for example, PMI, PRINCE2 and agile)
  • Strong technical skills including MS Project, Visio, and advanced Excel
  • Deep understanding of Project Management concepts (e.g., demand management, prioritization, approval processes, reporting, issue/risk resolution, dependency identification, financial tracking, scheduling, resource management, capacity planning)
  • Ability to assimilate, translate and communicate business concepts and requirements
  • Ability to manage an IT project budget and to communicate IT costs and investments to an array of stakeholders
  • Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources
  • Distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and communication skills, as this is a highly visible position with substantial impact
  • COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption

Pay Range: $160,000 - $170,000, and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
