An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HR Advisor to join our HR Team that spans across the South Pacific, located in Suva.  As an HR Advisor, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills by partnering with the business across all remits of HR in a fast-paced industry.  The HR Advisor will report to Manager Human Resources.

Job Description

  • Partnering with senior management to deliver business solutions
  • Provide advice, guidance, coaching and support to employees and managers in areas including, but not limited to:
    • Learning and Development  
    • Health and Safety
    • Employment Relations
    • Compensation and Benefits
    • Recruitment
    • Performance Management
    • Organisational Development
  • Develop training and development programmes for leadership, talent and upskilling of employee programmes
  • Participate in sourcing strategy to proactively attract talent
  • Implement mentoring and coaching frameworks to build leadership capabilities
  • Participate in harmonising and building of culture programme 
  • Manage on boarding and exiting procedures
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records, training files and employees’ personal files
  • Participate in HR projects and contribute toward the achievement of HR KPI’s
  • Other functions as and when required

Additional Information

  • Bachelor’s in business or human resources management or related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in human resources, preferably at a generalist HR advisory level, FNU accreditation as a Training officer desirable 
  • Sound knowledge of current Fiji employment legislation
  • Experience in the initiation and implementation of human resources policies, procedures, and development initiatives
  • Sound problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience working in partnership with other leaders to build and strong and successful organisation
  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver to tight deadlines
