The CIP Operator is responsible for maintaining production work area clean, by performing duties, such as moving materials, sweeping, and performing various duties similar to those of a janitor.  Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Compensation Range: $19.00 

• Handle cleaning chemicals according to standard operating procedures
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of chemicals used for the various CIP’s
• Must be able to pass a written test to operate CIP equipment, including but not limited to the APS, SERAC filler, tanks etc.
• Must pass a physical test demonstrating the use of the APS, SERAC filler, tanks etc.
• Ability to demonstrate the importance of safety at all times by using the correct PPE’s for each task and following the SWS/SSOP for the task that is being performed.
• Use the color coding chart to ensure that the correct chemical containers are being used.
• Learn cleaning methods used in the different plants so that plants equipment is not damaged due to improper cleaning.
• Ability to fill out the MSS sheets of areas that were cleaned throughout the shift.

Technical Skills

• Able to execute directives
• Ability to work with chemicals and/or learn proper chemical properties for dilution, mixing and safe handling of chemicals.

• Report any issues that contribute to inability to execute KPI; specifically centered on employee performance.

• Downtime less than 1%
• Sanitation Operations executed according to MSS
• Overtime less than 10% Daily
• Sanitation Schedule completion
