Overview

Crew Lead will manage an orange and grapefruit harvesting crew.  Lead will be responsible for all time and productivity tracking using electronic system.  Lead will communicate schedules and harvesting locations to harvesters.  Lead is also responsible for moving ladder trailer and restrooms.

Here's what you’ll do:

• This lead will supervise citrus harvesting crew quality and all activities
• Provide harvesters with their work schedule and locations
• Will use PickTrace handheld device to track all worked hours and pieces harvested per employee
• Move restroom and ladder trailer to the next harvesting location the crew is assigned to
• Keep equipment clean and properly maintained for safe operation.
• Bring fresh clean drinking water jugs daily for the crew
• Perform other responsibilities related to harvesting or as directed by supervisor.  In off season will work with harvest team measuring fruit and support with fruit estimations

• COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption.
• Have adequate leadership and communication skills to direct, schedule and coordinate personnel and services.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Be able to lift 50 lbs on a continuous basis and 100 lbs on occasion. 
• Be able to do continuous bending, stooping and walking on a daily basis.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license to drive company vehicle
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
