The Manager of eCommerce and Omnichannel Marketing is expected to work independently while part of a dynamic team, be a creative strategic thinker, and have a constant energy to grow our businesses within the eCommerce space at Kroger. Job Description

The Manager of eCommerce and Omnichannel Marketing works cross functionally with Wonderful Sales and L.A. marketing teams to grow our produce brands. This role will have direct responsibility over the development and execution of our eCommerce and omnichannel marketing strategies at Kroger (excl Harris Teeter).  This individual will be responsible for driving consumer engagement and growth at Kroger across modalities.

  • Create and communicate strategic account plans to grow Omnichannel sales across The Wonderful Company portfolio of produce brands at Kroger
  • Work closely with the Kroger Wonderful Sales team to support eCommerce sales growth
  • Develop and execute marketing strategy, digital media investment plans and omnichannel shopper marketing initiatives
  • Forecast, plan, and optimize marketing spend.  Understand ROI for all eCommerce investments.
  • Own Kroger relationships with key digital/eCommerce retailer contacts and meet on regular basis to devise and execute customer plans for digitally originated sales
  • Own Kroger Ocado management being the primary contact to Kroger on fulfillment center opportunities that will ensure best performance and future growth
  • Responsible for conducting ongoing and ad hoc analysis and reporting 
  • Some travel may be required

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, eCommerce, sales and trade marketing
  • Experience working with Kroger is preferred
  • Thorough understanding of online marketing and eCommerce
  • Passionate about learning new technologies and enjoy exploring the digital/tech space
  • Possess strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills
  • Self-starter who is used to working independently yet enjoys working as a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be highly organized 
  • Able to take complex information and discuss/present it in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent communication, writing and proofreading skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office user (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • BS or BA degree in marketing, business or related field, MBA preferred  
  • COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption
