Neptune Pacific Direct Line (NPDL) is experiencing a period of significant transformation. Formed in 2020, Neptune Pacific Line acquired Pacific Direct Line, bringing together two of the South Pacific’s top shipping and logistics companies to support the full supply chain of our customers in the region. NPDL is part of The Wonderful Company headquartered in Los Angeles, CA. Its other companies include FIJI Water, Justin and Landmark Vineyards, Vintage Nurseries, Wonderful Citrus, Wonderful Pistachios, Teleflora, POM Wonderful and Suterra.

Part of NPDL, Container Repairs and Sales (CRS) provides full empty container services including storage, repairs, sales, modifications and leasing. CRS has the following opportunities within our driver team: 

• Experience in driving single or double stacker Container Hoist
• Safely loading and unloading 20’ and 40’ containers on and off trucks
• Stacking containers up to 8 high
• Preparing work areas

  To be successful in this role you need:

• Full NZ Class 1 License (Class 2 and/or Class 4 desirable)
• Demonstrated understanding of safety practices
• To be able to work as part of a team
• Previous Container Handler experience

You will be:

• Commitment to Health & Safety 
• The ability to follow procedures
• A strong work ethic, commitment to attendance, flexible, and being a team player
• The ability to pass Ministry of Justice, ACC checks and a drug and alcohol test as part of our recruitment process

Hours of Work:

A minimum of 40 hours a week Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.00am – 6.00pm. Flexibility to work overtime to meet operational requirements will be required. Rostered Saturdays 7.00am – 1.00pm. Great overtime rates offered!
