The Planning Analyst is responsible for performing detailed analysis projects for multiple segments of the business, assisting with the creation of forecasts for sales, warehousing, and raw fruit needs, scheduling production plants, scheduling transfers of both raw fruit and finished goods to offsite warehouses, as well as managing multiple warehouse inventory levels throughout the year.

The primary responsibilities for this role include managing internal forecasts. This also includes performing in-depth analysis and leveraging tools and technology to showcase KPIs. This role will ultimately identify and implement actionable solutions that will improve the overall POM Supply Chain.

Job Description

Fresh & Arils product lines

  • Maintain supply/demand model for Fresh & Arils businesses during season
  • Assist in developing a sales ramp plan to successfully launch the season
  • Manage transfers of raw fruit and/or finished goods to and from outside warehouses
  • Support supply/demand dashboards in PowerBI
  • Create daily inventory position reports for management team
  • Track and manage finished goods expirations
  • Arils scheduling
  • Track and analyze daily production yield to identify trends and make suggestions

Qualifications

  • Advanced computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to create a problem-solving culture, focused on identifying/addressing root causes of performance shortfalls
  • Ability to take charge and make decisions in a high intensity, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities

Education & Experience:

  • 2-3 years of sales experience, or equivalent years of education and experience
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced computer skills with an emphasis in Microsoft Office suite of products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to swiftly and effectively conduct sales analysis
  • Knowledge of standard project management and milestone based task management
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-project environment and support multiple internal customers
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, supply chain, or related area 
  • COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption
