Job Description

The ChemOps Material Handler will work closely with the ChemOps production team and will be responsible for receiving new materials, conducting proper sampling, placarding and storage of materials in ChemOps. Advancement opportunities to move into Material Handler lead roles! We are an entrepreneurial driven, fast paced organization with decade long, double-digit growth that hires highly motivated professionals for our teams.   

After a year of service and a fully signed-off training list, team members become eligible for Lead roles, which will carry an additional $2.00 per hour increase

Schedule:

  • 12 - hour shifts, 2 hours overtime guaranteed each shift. 
  • 3 - 4 days off each week.
  • Schedule is made a year in advance; know every day you are working for the entire year!

Here's what you'll do: 

  • Operate a forklift. 
  • Receive materials and conduct proper sample, placarding and storage. 
  • Stage materials for production use.
  • Support waste drum staging and loading.
  • Ship and receive materials.
  • Conduct cycle counts and material verification.
  • Review and replenish Kanban items and stations. 
  • Fill and empty bulk solvent totes.

Qualifications

  • Forklift experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures. 
  • Ability to be self-directed.
  • Focus on safety.
  • Strong communication skills.
