Teleflora’s finance department is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to work with Teleflora’s business in bringing new thoughtful insights to the department. This position will require solid Excel skills, previous experience in a respected finance organization and ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast paced, creative environment.

This position will be based at our HQ Office in Los Angeles and working a hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the office.

• Understand financial operations of the business and educate others inside and outside the Finance/Accounting group about the financial performance of their respective area
• Responsible for monthly reporting models; prepare monthly management reporting and perform variance analysis
• Assist with monthly close and variance analysis, prepare Journal Entries, generate monthly reports and complete other tasks related to the close process
• Act as key liaison between Finance department and the leaders of several key business segments
• Assist with budget preparation and forecast updates focusing on underlying business drivers and key financial and operating metrics
• Analyze large volumes of data and present in a concise and intuitive manner; interpret data to explain past financial performance and project future results and formulate a coherent story with clear, easy to follow conclusions and implications
• Update, maintain and publish product line profitability to inform decisions based on data driven insights
• Responsible for handling most of Teleflora's ecommerce business
• Proactively identify issues and opportunities, and provide value-added analysis to improve business performance
• Proactively improve business processes through system tools and method

• 3 - 6 years of budgeting and forecasting experience within an FP&A department in a mid size to large organization
• Superior analytical and reporting skills with the ability to resolve issues and develop new processes when necessary
• Ability to perform financial and operational analysis, including ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel is required - demonstrated experience with pivot tables, formulas and external data sources
• CPA or CFA, preferred but not required
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting concepts
• Ability to effectively communicate to senior management
• Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills required
• MS Access skills and Oracle Essbase experience a plus
• BS/BA in Finance or Accounting
• COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption
