A Day in the Life at Wonderful Orchards:

Wonderful Orchards is currently seeking to fill a Receptionist position for our corporate office based in Shafter. This position is responsible for answering phone calls on a multiple phone line system and directing them to the appropriate individual or department. Responsible for clerical duties as assigned. Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for answering phone calls in a professional manner, multiple phone lines and directing them to the appropriate individual
• Provide callers with address, direction and other general information.
• Greet visitors, determine nature of business and announce them to the appropriate individual.
• Daily data entry into different systems
• Receive and sort mail and fax transmissions.
• Setup UPS and Federal Express packages for shipping on a daily basis.
• Assist Human Resources and payroll staff with tasks as needed.

Your Contribution to Wonderful Orchards:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent/ 2 years office experience, customer service or equivalent combination education and experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Experience with multi-phone line system.
• Proficient in Microsoft office products -- Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.
• Professional individual with excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
• COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption.
