If so, we are seeking a Growth & Retention Specialist to join our Wine Society team. Reporting to the Manager of Strategy, Growth & Retention, in this role you will get to flex your detail-oriented skills to innovate our member experiences, think creatively to attract new members, and collaborate with teams to drive our fast-growing wine businesses.

Job Description

  • Deliver best-in-class service to members and customers across all forms of communication including telephone, email, chat, and social media.
  • Identify opportunities to drive Wine Society membership growth at on-the-road events, member and special events, virtual programs, and more.
  • Collect data, analyze trends and patterns, and communicate insights related to membership acquisition, attrition, and churn rates to inform future member experiences and loyalty programs.
  • Execute routine reporting for all aspects of membership retention and growth across all wine brands (JUSTIN, JNSQ, Landmark Vineyards, and Lewis Cellars).
  • Collect data and analyze results for eCommerce promotions and communicate key learnings and insights in a compelling way.
  • Support key business processes including premium club and allocation programs, library programs, holiday gifting, member recruitment campaigns, and promotions.
  • Maintain member database accuracy and conduct routine maintenance updates.

Qualifications

  • 2-year (associate) degree from an accredited institution required; 4-year (bachelors) degree preferred
  • 1-year of sales, hospitality and/or marketing/public relations experience within the wine industry required
  • Ability to be flexible with work hours and/or locations based on business and project needs (e.g. on-site and off-site locations, work travel, rotational work schedule shifts, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills and able to communicate clearly and persuasively (both written and verbal)
  • Strong planning and organization skills to plan work activities, use time efficiently, and complete deliverables in a timely manner
  • Strong collaborative approach and a high attention to detail with a desire for accuracy and shared wins
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Experience within an eCommerce or DTC team a plus
  • Experience with Klaviyo or Mailchimp a plus
  • COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption
